Stephen Nadeau

As Senior Vice President of Property, Stephen (Steve) is responsible for building out our commercial property vertical, tapping into over 30 years of experience in underwriting and claims. Before joining Coaction, Steve was a property underwriting officer with Navigators/The Hartford where he helped oversee their E&S Property team. Previously, he helped start and build Validus Specialty’s commercial property operation in the United States across six office locations. Prior to that, Steve helped lead the Commercial Property team at First State Management Group for over thirteen years, including its successful sale to Beazley Syndicate. He holds his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Associate in Surplus Lines (ASLI), and Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) designations. Steve earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Vermont. He is also a licensed insurance producer and surplus lines broker in Massachusetts.
