Hunter Morgan

As Senior Vice President, Excess Casualty, Hunter brings with him more than 16 years of E&S experience. Hunter started his underwriting career at James River Insurance, developing new business opportunities and evaluating risk, before transitioning to Markel Corporation. There he spent nearly a decade in various underwriting and leadership roles, contributing to the growth and profitability of the wholesale casualty portfolio, building teams and expanding customer relationships. Prior to joining Coaction, Hunter served as Senior Director and Wholesale Construction Practice Leader. He is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, earned his B.A. in Managerial Economics from Hampden-Sydney College and obtained his MBA from the University of Richmond – Robins School of Business.
