Bill Steinberg

Bill has over 25 years of experience in the E&S Property space that he brings to his role as Senior Vice President of Property. He joins us most recently from Navigators/Hartford, where he was Head of Wholesale Property. Prior to that, Bill was part of AIG/Validus, where he helped build out the Validus Specialty Commercial Property vertical, and before that, he managed a nationwide Commercial E&S Property unit at Beazley Syndicate. Previously, Bill was Chief Property Underwriting Officer in the Boston home office of First State Management Group, working his way up from underwriter in their New York office. Bill began his Commercial Property career at General Star, the direct insurance segment of General Reinsurance. He holds a B.S. in Business/Marketing from The University of Connecticut. Bill also has his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Surplus Lines (ASLI) designations, as well as a surplus lines broker license in Massachusetts.
