The Journey Continues
The spirit of sacrifice and innovation has propelled us forward as a nation. It is with this spirit in mind that I reflect on ProSight’s recently announced coverage enhancement, Music Mends. This one-of-a-kind endorsement was designed for touring artists in response to the pain and disruption that terrorism can wreak on their performances.
ProSight has responded to the challenges that artists face from terrorism with this innovative coverage to assist performers with rescheduling events cancelled or interrupted as a direct result of terrorism, and helps them do it at or near the original venue.
I am proud of ProSight’s emphasis on innovating within the insurance space, and proud of the fact that the cost of this enhancement is being borne by ProSight. Its one thing to develop an innovative, one-of-a-kind insurance enhancement, but it is another to stand behind it and stand up to terrorism. The ability to unite and rally around a common goal is one of the cultural aspects that draws people and customers to ProSight.
Ideas come from every corner of the company. In the case of Music Mends, our Chief Underwriting Officer Bob Bailey and our CEO Joe Beneducci were attending a concert together and learned that some of the performers had been personally affected by the terrorist attack in Paris the day before. They decided that something had to be done. It is this kind of leadership that makes ProSight a one-of-a-kind company. From the CEO to the chief underwriter to our program managers and field staff, the ability to surface ideas that make a difference is empowering and creates a powerful market differentiator.
