In June, 2011 A.M. Best affirmed the financial strength rating of ProSight Specialty Insurance’s companies as “A” (Excellent). In the announcement, A.M. Best cited ProSight’s solid market capitalization, specialty underwriting expertise in our core niche markets, and the deep strength and expertise of our management team.

We are not a generalist and will not put capital at risk in markets where we lack expertise or strong distribution partners. Experienced Leadership

ProSight was founded by insurance industry veterans and is backed by affiliates of TPG Capital and GS Capital Partners, two leading private equity firms. Every member of the leadership team has over a decade of experience in senior leadership roles at major insurance companies. Our staff consists of the best specialist underwriters and claims adjusters in the industry who joined ProSight because of their belief that specialized expertise is the best way to create value in our industry.
