Program Features

ProSight Specialty Insurance and Tangram Insurance Services established the Community Giving Fund to enable both insurance companies, in partnership with its agents, to provide additional support to non-profit organizations in an effort to further their mission. The Community Giving Fund was designed to allow charitable organizations to apply for grants, while creating the opportunity for brokers to develop even deeper relationships with the non-profit community. Insurance brokers serving the grantees played a critical role in the process by nominating organizations for financial support from the fund.

Here’s how it works: Every year our agents invite non-profit customers to apply for a grant through a simple online form. A committee made up of Tangram and ProSight employees review the applications and determine grant recipients for the current period. Our Community Giving Fund is another way to recognize the leadership of our agents and the good work of our non-profit policyholders.

In 2015, the Community Giving Fund awarded 107 grants ranging from $500 to $5,000 with each assisting organizations that are directly impacting the communities they serve. The grants were distributed to non-profit organizations across the country supporting a wide array of unique programs and services: from child abuse prevention and crisis intervention to community center, shelter and senior center support.
